Competition tests

Checking and marking competition tests

The minimum overall average for admission to undergraduate university studies cannot be lower than 5.00 (five).

The ranking of the candidates will be done according to the general average, and their allocation to the places offered for the competition will be done in turn, from the first to the last ranked, depending on the order of the options specified in the registration form, within the limits of the approved places for each study program.

The general admission average is calculated as the arithmetic average or weighted average of the grades obtained in the entrance exams. The average is calculated to two decimal places without rounding.

When calculating the general average for admission to undergraduate university studies, the following will be taken into account:

In the Animal Husbandry field:

100% average from the baccalaureate
In the field of Biotechnologies:

90% average from the baccalaureate
10% grade motivational essay !!! MOTIVATIONAL ESSAY STRUCTURE MODEL

The classification order resulting from the admission will be used for the distribution of the places financed from the state budget and the places with a fee, these going to the best ranked candidates in each field/study program.

Registration and the competition will be organized separately for the study line in the Romanian language and the study lines in the English and French languages.

Candidates for study programs organized in a foreign language will present a B-2 level language proficiency certificate issued by authorized institutions.

Candidates whose mother tongue coincides with the teaching language of the study program do not have to present a language proficiency certificate.

Admission is organized by degree fields and study programs.

Within the study program, ranking is done in descending order of admission average.

Contest results

The results of the admission competition are published on the page https://admitere.usamvcluj.ro

Upon admission, in the event of the existence of several candidates with equal averages, the grades obtained at the baccalaureate will be used for the tie-breaker in the following order:

a) The mark obtained in the Romanian language;

b) Grade obtained in mathematics/history;

c) Grade on the test from the student’s option.

The display of the results obtained in the admission competition is done in stages, with at least two types of lists being generated for each stage.

(a) provisional lists – with the ranking of candidates, generated after admission;

(b) definitive lists – with the ranking of the candidates, generated after the resolution of appeals that include the final and indisputable results.

The lists contain the following categories of information:

(a) The list of candidates admitted for the places with funding from the budget, within the limit of the number of allocated places, if applicable;

(b) List of candidates admitted for places with a fee, within the limit of the number of places allocated, if applicable;

(c) List of waiting candidates;

(d) List of rejected candidates, if applicable.

During each admission session, the students accepted for the study places with a fee are determined from among the candidates for admission located after the last one admitted to the places financed from the state budget, in descending order of the classification made on the basis of the admission criteria.

The results of the admission competition, verified and approved by the University’s Admissions Committee, are made known to those interested by being posted on the university’s bulletin boards and on the website www.usamvcluj.ro.

Any appeals regarding the results of the admission contest can be submitted online to the USAMV CN registry at the email address [email protected].

Candidates declared admitted to the places with funding from the budget pay the registration fee – 30 lei and sign the study contract. Candidates declared admitted, who do not sign the Study Contract according to the admission calendar, lose the place won through the competition.

Candidates declared admitted, who do not sign the Study Contract within the term established according to the admission calendar, lose the place won through the competition.

Vacant places financed from the state budget, during the weekly stages corresponding to the admission session, by not signing the study contract, will be filled, by sliding, in the descending order of averages, by the candidates admitted to the fee-paying places who have signed the study contract studies.

In the last week of the admission session, if the number of candidates who slide from fee-based places to budgeted places is less than the number of available places, candidates from the waiting list who have the budget option can also slide into the vacant budgeted places within the same admission sessions, within the study program.

Considering the continuous enrollment within the 2 admission sessions for each session, both new candidates and those on the waiting list corresponding to the previous week/weeks apply for vacant seats from the second week of registration.

Candidates admitted to the fee-paying places and who have signed the study contract will pay 10% of the tuition fee, this being constituted as a guarantee for enrolment. The annual tuition fee can be paid in a maximum of 4 installments.

The fee is not refunded in case of withdrawal.

Candidates admitted to places with a fee and who have signed the study contract, in the situation where they have slipped to places with budget funding, will benefit from the full refund of the guarantee for enrollment

Vacant fee places due to not signing the Study Contract or due to sliding on the budgeted seats, can be occupied by sliding in the descending order of averages by candidates from the waiting list who have the fee option, within the same admission session, in within the faculty.

For study programs where, at the end of each registration period, the number of registered candidates is lower than the number of places open for competition, registration continues in parallel with the activities of displaying results, contracting, swiping, until all places are filled, until the end of the period admission.

If at the faculty level there is no possibility of occupying these places, then they will be redistributed at the university level to the faculties that have candidates for the fee and that can slide to the budget.

Redistribution will take place at the end of the autumn session.

The university will return, after posting the final results, within 48 hours of submitting the application and unconditionally, without charging any fees, the files of the rejected candidates or those who give up the place obtained through admission.

Enrollment

Confirmed candidates are published on the page https://admitere.usamvcluj.ro/

Failure to present the original baccalaureate/license/master’s diploma, through the sole fault of the admitted candidate, at the signing of the contract, leads to the loss of the place financed from the state budget.

Candidates declared admitted to the places financed from the budget pay the registration fee and sign the study contract.

Candidates declared admitted to the places with a fee pay the registration fee and 10% of the tuition fee as well as the guarantee fee and sign the study contract.

The enrollment of candidates declared admitted following the admission competition is made by decision of the USAMVCN Rector at the beginning of the academic year.

After the registration is approved, students are registered in the Single Enrollment Register (RMU) with a unique number valid for the entire period of schooling in the study program(s) to which they were admitted.
